Get Involved…
Migrant Support Network was created to respond to a growing crisis: migrant workers and students across the UK are being exploited, excluded, and overlooked. We provide free, practical support to those who need it most, but we can’t do it alone.
Whether you’re an individual, a professional, an employer, or a funder, you can be part of this movement for justice. This page outlines how you can get involved, take action, and help create real change for migrant communities.
Donate Items to Support Migrant Families: As part of our commitment to practical, on-the-ground support, we welcome donations of quality items that can directly benefit the families and individuals we support. These are especially useful for those facing hardship, displacement, or digital exclusion.
If you or your organisation has spare tech, surplus stock, or good-quality home items, please email us to arrange drop-off or collection where possible. Email: info@migrantsupportnetwork.com
Volunteer With Us
We’re building a national community of volunteers to support:
- Academic tutoring and homework clubs
- Workshop delivery and facilitation
- CV support and job readiness sessions
- Language interpretation and admin help
- Event planning and fundraising
Whether you have one hour a week or one day a month, your time can make a meaningful difference.
Make A Donation
If you’d prefer to contribute financially, we gratefully accept one-off and regular donations to fund:
- Emergency support for families in crisis
- Tutoring resources and session costs
- School kits, travel fares, and clothing
- Workshop materials and interpretation services
- Advocacy and legal support sessions
Every pound helps us extend our reach and sustain our impact.
Support Migrant Families
We currently welcome donations:
Laptops and tablets – Used in good condition for our children’s tutoring programme and digital literacy workshops. Also redistributed for home learning & job search.
Mobile phones – Especially for individuals who have no access to communication due to financial hardship. Devices don’t need to be new – just in good working order.
Household items – Quality essentials such as kettles, toasters, bedding, kitchenware & lamps help families starting over.
Children’s items – Clean and safe donations of toys, books, games, and puzzles go a long way to helping migrant children feel included and support.
Partner With Us
We welcome partnerships with:
- Local authorities and NHS trusts
- Charities and faith-based groups
- SMEs, care providers, and social enterprises
- Universities, schools, and students’ unions
Let’s collaborate to deliver joint services, share resources, and build a stronger support system for migrants.
Join a Focus Group or Advisory Panel
We want to ensure lived experience is at the heart of everything we do. If you’re a migrant, student, or someone with insight into the challenges our communities face, consider joining our advisory group or attending a listening session.
Fundraise for Us
Whether it’s a bake sale, birthday fundraiser, sponsored walk, or corporate match donation, there are so many creative ways to raise funds for our work.
We’ll support you with:
- Fundraising packs
- Social media shout-outs
- Donation certificates or presentations
- Ideas tailored to your event or network
Why Get Involved?
Because:
- Exploitation and hardship shouldn’t be part of anyone’s migration journey
- Education, access, and dignity are basic rights, not luxuries
- Collective action is powerful
- You have something valuable to give, whether time, money, skills, or spare tech
